42-й кинофестиваль горных и приключенческих фильмов в Банффе прошел с 28 октября по 5 ноября. Как всегда  было заявлено много фильмов (382 из 36 стран), много книг на конкурс книг (171 из 11 стран). Из гостей фестиваля на первом плане был, конечно, Крис Бонингтон, который не только представил свою новую книгу, но был сам представлен, как главный герой одного из фильмов.
